Stoney Point Lighthouse is located in the Henderson Harbor area of Lake Ontario north of Syracuse about 50 miles. It is the oldest on the hudson, built in 1826. The octagonal shaped tower height is 30 feet, and the markings are a white with black lantern. The original lighthouse was decommissioned, and replaced by a steal light tower built near the shoreline. The lighthouse has been automated since 1973.
Stony Point Lighthouse is currently a private residence, but they do allow you to take a few pictures.
