Saugerties Lighthouse

Saugerties Lighthouse, has a two-story dwelling and attached tower that is constructed on a massive stone caisson to shield it from the Hudson River floes. The lighthouse is now a musuem open to the public on weekends.

***Directions: The lighthouse is located in mid-channel, and cannot be reached from land, but can be seen from either Hudson City on Route 9 or Athens on Route 385.
