Frozen lakes....what an excitement it was for me to experience this! I grew up in Panama, hot humid jungle land....and experiencing the beauty of frozen lakes was breathtaking for me. A photo just can't capture the true beauty...and the fine hairline cracks...so awesome. It was like a Christmas scene photo being enjoyed in "real time". Maine, so beautiful...
