Long Point Twillingate Lighthouse

Long Point Twillingate Lighthouse is located in Newfoundland, and is situated on Iceburg Alley. The lighthouse is located 331 feet above sea level atop a cliff named Devil's Cove Head, in Notre Dame Bay. It was built of stone in 1875. The tower is 47 feet tall. There is an enclosed walkway connecting the keeper's house, fog horn building, and light tower. The aerobeacon-style lens, has a range of 22 nautical miles.

Directions to lighthouse: From TransCanada Highway, turn onto Route 340 to Lewsiporte. Continue on Route 340 to New World Island, then Twillingate Island; the lighthouse is at the road's end. From Gander, turn onto Route 330, the Rte. 331 to 340 and the Isles.
