Lansing Shoals Lighthouse is located in northern Lake Michigan, approximately 12 miles northwest of Beaver Island.

It was built in 1928, and stands approximately 69 feet above water level. The foundation is a concrete pier on a timber crib, and the lighthouse is steel frame with steel sheeting. The lighthouse is active, and access can be made only by boat.
