Hooper Strait Lighthouse is a hexagonal-shaped lighthouse, and is is forty-four feet wide. It was deactivated in 1954, and was acquired by the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels on the Maryland eastern shore. The lighthouse stands on Navy Point beside the musuem.
***Directions: Take U.S. Highway 50 and then Route 33 to St. Michaels. Signs point the way to Navy Point and the museum.
