Doubling Point Lighthouse

Doubling Point Lighthouse is one of the four lighthouses on the Kennebec River. The lighthouse was built in 1898. It is privately owned and can be photographed by boat or from a destance across the river on RT 209 to Phippsburg.

***Directions: From U.S. Route 1 in Bath, take the High Street RT 209 exit to Phippsburg. The light can bee seen across the river just a short distance south of Bath. The light can be seen across the Sheepscot River about one mile away. Excursion boats also offer close views of this lighthouse.
