Writing poetry has always been an enjoyable hobby, and a means to express myself. I've written some poems regarding the Canal Zone--a very special place to me. I lived in the Canal Zone from birth in 1947, until 1968. The Canal Zone is "no longer" such a place in the world, as it has been turned over to Panama. I hope to preserve some of my memories of the Canal Zone through my poems.
