Copper Harbor Lighthouse was built in 1849, and upgraded in 1969. It has a square stone tower with a small attached dwelling. It still stands today, however, its duties have been taken over by a beacon displayed from a nearby skeleton tower.
***Directions: The town of Copper Harbor is located a te far northern end of Route 26. The lighthouse is now part of Fort Wilkins State Park. It is best reached by water from Copper Harbor Municipal Marina; call (906) 289-4215.
