This granite lighthouse was built in 1890. When completed, the Light Station consisted of the 34 ft. tower, with a 5th order Fresnel lens, a 1300 lb. fog bell, and a keeper's residence. The keeper's dwelling was destroyed in the Hurricane of 1938. Automated in 1957.
