Cape Blanco Lighthouse is the oldest and southernmost of Oregon's major beacons. The light shines from atop a fifty-nine foot conical tower erected in 1870. The light can be seen from up to twenty-two miles at sea. Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds.
***Directions: The lighthouse is located near Cape Blanco State Park, off U.S. Highway 101 a few miles north of Port Orford.
